2024: State of the Hourly Workforce

Legion surveyed over 1,500 hourly employees and 550 managers to examine productivity, job satisfaction, and what employers can do to improve the experience of hourly employees and managers.

The findings? Retention challenges and the growing push for unionization are calls to enhance employee and manager experiences. 

More than half of employees said they were very likely to leave their jobs within twelve months. Almost a third wished there had been a unionization effort at their employer. The experience of managers is also problematic.
