Informe sobre el estado de las compras de 2024

Amazon Business has unveiled its 2024 State of Acquisition Data Report, focusing on the most relevant trends impacting decision-makers in organizations of all sizes. The findings examine the dynamics and rapidly transforming state of business-to-business (B2B) acquisitions in recent years.

For this year’s report, Amazon Business surveyed more than 3,000 buyers, purchasing decision-makers, and senior organizational leaders familiar with procurement operations in the public and private sectors. Respondents were located in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The report indicated that:

  • 95% of decision-makers admit that there is a possibility of optimizing acquisitions.
  • 85% of those surveyed said that the difficulty of sourcing suppliers who follow sustainable practices prevents the company from setting strategic sustainability procurement goals.
  • 81% of survey respondents had mandates to buy from certified vendors, including sustainable, local, or disadvantaged-owned businesses. Despite the desire to make responsible purchases (85%), the difficulty in finding sustainable suppliers hinders sustainability goals.
