Mobile Wallets: Ein Neuer Marketingkanal zur Umsatzsteigerung
| Mobile wallets, also known as wallet apps or “e-wallets,” are exactly what the name suggests: digital wallets on your smartphone. From a consumer perspective, they allow you to digitally store loyalty cards, boarding passes, discount coupons, reservations, invitations, and more, keeping them all in one place: on your phone. From a brand perspective, wallet apps can be used as marketing channels to reach and engage customers directly on their smartphones.
According to a Forrester report, the integration of wallet apps into brands’ marketing strategies has increased significantly in recent years. Already widespread in Asia, wallet apps are also gaining increasing traction in Europe. Here, for example, record conversion rates of 15% to 55% in stores, a 32% higher purchase frequency, and a 9% increase in the average order value are being reported. Mobile wallets are therefore a promising marketing tool for brands, including in Germany. If you’d like to learn more about mobile wallet marketing, download our whitepaper . |
